Hi, I’m Jenna!

I’m a mum of three — Penn (6), Willa (4) and Scout (2.5).
I’m a personal trainer with specialised training in pregnancy and postpartum, and co-owner of Stance Training. Over the past six years, rebuilding my strength and stability postpartum has been a central focus. Each return to training has looked different, but one thing has remained constant: a gradual, structured approach is what creates lasting progress, especially when real life requires you to lift children, prams, and groceries (often all at once).
While I now train in a group setting, it wasn’t my starting point after each pregnancy. I followed a considered, progressive approach and, like many mums, I’ve had moments of doing too much or too little. Each time, I’ve returned to the same principle: consistency in showing up (as hard as that can be) makes the difference.
I’ve worked with women at all stages from early postpartum through to well beyond the first year, supporting both those new to exercise and those returning with prior experience.
I really love seeing the progress and internal reward women experience when they achieve their goals.

Pregnancy and postpartum is different for everyone. It’s important that I get to know you and your history before our session to ensure I am making informed decisions regarding your movement. These can be done in person or over the phone.

“I genuinely can’t recommend Jenna enough! I started training with Jenna when I was about 11 months post-partum with my first baby. I had never trained consistently before, and I was so nervous! From day one, she made me feel completely supported and comfortable. She created the best environment for both myself and my son Archie, who came almost every session.

Because of Jenna, I hit so many more goals physically than I ever expected! Her knowledge of post-partum recovery and training gave me so much confidence. Each session was tailored to where I was at physically and emotionally, and I really valued her focus on technique and how my body felt during movements.

Archie and I both loved our sessions with Jenna, which made getting movement in each week so much easier for me. If you’re pregnant or post-partum and looking for someone to help you with your fitness or movement goals, she is absolutely the one to see! “

“I started training with Jenna when I was around 8 weeks postpartum with my 2nd baby.  Starting from felt like ‘scratch’ again, I always felt I was in safe hands to rebuild my strength and core and recovery from pregnancy and birth. I felt Jenna always understood what I was going through both on a personal level being a mother herself and on a professional level with her experience and knowledge.

Jenna always took the time to ensure I was correctly training and working the right muscles so I didn’t harm other parts of my body. She is full of tips and tricks if things don’t feel right to get you feeling the best you can.

Her methods and style are the perfect combination of challenging and fun and I always looked forward to our sessions. Not to mention she managed to do this all and entertain my children at the same time. I will forever grateful for her time.”

“I started training with Jenna about a year after having my first baby, at a point where I really wanted to rebuild my strength properly. Her program was completely personalised to me. She pushed me when I needed it, but always with purpose and awareness.

When I fell pregnant again, she adapted everything seamlessly. As my body changed and certain movements became more limited, she adjusted my program so I could continue training safely and effectively. I trained right up until the last four weeks of my pregnancy and felt strong and supported the entire time.

Jenna tracks progress consistently, which made it easy to see improvement and stay motivated. What sets her apart is how thoroughly she explains everything. She doesn’t just tell you what to do, she teaches you how to do it properly and why it matters. I learnt so much about correct technique, how to get the full benefit from movements, and how to protect my body from injury.

She’s also genuinely enjoyable to train with.

I highly recommend training with Jenna, particularly if you’re navigating postpartum recovery or pregnancy and want to build strength in a smart, sustainable way”
